The business philosophy of Ameritex calls for an experienced and versatile staff.  The experience of this group is in all facets of exploration, development, production and administration which allows the company to function efficiently and innovatively.

James W. Little, President of Ameritex, received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Texas at Austin (1975) and Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law (1977).  Mr. Little has been actively involved in oil and gas exploration on a full time basis subsequent to graduation from law school.  As President of Ameritex, Mr. Little formulates Ameritex's exploration strategy, directs all financial activities, and assists in marketing prospects.

Patrick Talamas, Vice President - Exploration, received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Texas at Austin (1981).  Mr. Talamas has a proven track record of finding oil and gas reserves.  Most of his experience is in the Gulf Coast Onshore and Gulf of Mexico.  He is currently managing Ameritex's exploration staff, interpreting 3D seismic data, and marketing prospects generated by Ameritex.

Richard R. Ryan, Land Manager, received a Bachelor of Business Administration  Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.  Mr. Ryan has over twenty-five (25) years experience in petroleum land management and has held positions with Placid Oil Company, New London Oil, Inc. and Abraxas Petroleum Corporation.  Currently, Mr. Ryan serves as Land Manager for Ameritex and is responsible for administering Ameritex’s land activities and assisting in marketing prospects generated by Ameritex.

Justin W. Little, Land Department, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Communications and a minor in Geology from Texas Christian University.  Mr. Little entered the oil and gas industry working as an independent Landman and has gained experience in many areas of the business.  Currently Mr. Little is involved with many land related issues and is assisting in the marketing of prospects generated by Ameritex.

Steve Hale, Exploration Geologist, received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Texas at Austin (1979).  Mr. Hale has extensive experience as an exploration geologist specializing in prospect generation and evaluation of oil and gas trends in south Texas.  As exploration geologist for Ameritex, Mr. Hale is currently involved in geologic trend studies geared toward 3-D seismic application, including prospect area identification, coordination of survey planning, data acquisition and processing as well as 3-D seismic interpretation.

John Stewart, Exploration Geologist, received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science Degree in Geology from Kansas State University and a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Management from The University of Texas San Antonio.  Mr. Stewart has over thirty-five (35) years of varied geological experience with emphasis in the clastic sequences of the Texas Gulf Coast and south Texas with a primary focus on the Wilcox trend.  Currently, Mr. Stewart is evaluating the Ameritex 3-D and 2-D data bases to generate prospects and is actively screening outside submittals.

Timothy J. McGovern, Exploration Geologist, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Texas A&M University-College Station (2007).  Mr. McGovern is the newest member of the Ameritex exploration staff, and is currently interpreting 3D seismic data.

Mike Beam, is the Controller of Ameritex.  Mr. Beam received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 1977 after attending the University of Texas at Austin for two years.  After spending three years in public accounting, Mr. Beam became the Controller of Petropool, Inc., an active operating/prospect generating company.  In 1989 Mr. Beam established his own accounting practice and continued to work in the oil and gas industry performing joint interest audits and general accounting work.  As Controller of Ameritex, Mr. Beam is responsible for all accounting functions.
